IMPACT

To date, the Live Like Maya Foundation has raised over $1 million since it's inception in 2019 to support pediatric cancer families, life-saving pediatric cancer research and goodwill within the community.

In 2025 The Live Like Maya Foundation:

• $51,384 provided in financial support to pediatric cancer families.

• $41,207 granted to Cincinnati Children's Hospital (CCHMC) supporting the Advanced Leukemia Therapies & Research Center.

• $24,062 donated to St. Jude.

• $16,325 granted to Blood Cancer United (formerly The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society) to support their Dare to Dream pediatric cancer initiative.

• $8,655 raised for a family who has a child in cancer treatment and tragically lost their home to a tornado.

• $4,214 to Make-a-Wish, Ronald McDonald House, Angel Alley, Mason teachers, and other kindness initiatives throughout our community.

• $3,000 in scholarships to Mason students.

• We hosted a prom for children, teens, and young adults facing critical illnesses, offering them a special night to simply enjoy being themselves and experience a sense of normalcy.

• We provided several families with stays at a local Airbnb while visiting from out of town to receive second opinions and therapy at CCHMC.

• We provided gift cards, soft blankets, portable mattresses, and wagons to several families staying at CCHMC.

• We organized a gift card/toy drive for Cincinnati Children's Hospital and The Ronald McDonald House.

• We provided holiday photo sessions and photo sessions with So Many Angels, transforming kids into what they want to be when they grow up onto canvas. 

We also won the 2025 Mason Deerfield Chamber of Commerce Nonprofit of the Year award!
